Infrastructure system

A network of independent, mostly privately owned, automated systems and processes that function collaboratively and synergistically to produce and distribute a continuous flow of essential goods and services. The eight critical infrastructure systems defined by PDD63 are: telecommunications, banking and finance, power generation and distribution, oil and gas distribution and storage, water processing and supply, transportation, emergency services, and government services.
